"We Are Here is a public exhibition of artwork from 15 native Detroit artists who share a common love for where they come from. The exhibition will contain over 40 original works of art created by nationally and internationally known artists spanning multiple mediums and artistic movements. Abstract expressionism, bold graffiti, photography, engaging video installations and brilliant illustrations will showcase the spirit and shadows of our great city. The purpose of this exhibition is to not only display these artistic pieces but to also create a "moment" where the creatives of Detroit can convene, share experiences and trade knowledge to become a collective art movement in its own and help our city thrive."
